What is cryolipolysis?

Cryolipolysis is a non-invasive body-contouring method that controllably freezes fat cells to roughly −8 °C to −11 °C. The chilled fat cells crystallise and are permanently destroyed, after which the body clears them naturally over 2–3 months. This FDA-cleared treatment reduces fat on the abdomen, flanks, thighs and double chin without surgery, injections or downtime, cutting the fat layer in the treated area by up to 20–25%.
